Camps & Clinics
We develop camps and clinics for every age and skill level. Some more intense than others! But every one of them are packed with fun and learning.
Camps typically take place over anywhere between two and five consecutive days. Clinics are typically one-day training events or a series of one-day training events in consecutive weeks.
Read more about our system below. And for a schedule and description of each of our camps, and registration information on each one please see the links on your right. And we’ll look forward to seeing you at one soon!
Shock System of Camps
INTENSE - Better lace ‘em up. The Shock System of Camps and Clinics is like no other. Through a series of summer camps and clinics for boys and girls of all ages we provide the training necessary to succeed. We also offer trainings at YOUR location—for your convenience. Ask us about setting one up at your place...
RESULTS - We get them. Our focus is on training the individual player in all aspects of the game. Offensive training and concepts are taught in most of our camps, because we realize that teaching and training play-ers on the offensive side of the ball is much more time-consuming and difficult to perfect than any other part of the game. So what makes our program different than all of the other camps out there? The players at-tending our camps see results and experience success.
MORE - We give it. Our camp system is designed for players to get hundreds and sometimes thousands of reps in a three or four-day period. The camps are not set up as “day care services”...the players work, see and feel themselves getting better, gain more confidence, and become more aggressive on the floor. That is the cycle we hear more coaches and parents want for their kids.
BETTER - We are it. The system has proven itself over the past 18 years! What kind of camp are you look-ing to send your players to this summer? Will it be A) a camp/clinic where they just play a multitude of games and not work on the fundamentals that they need to improve, and you get back the same player you had when you finished up in the spring? Or B) would you rather they go through a system where they are going to get the solid, professional training they need to get better and help your team win? If “B” is your answer, then the Shock Basketball Academy has what you need!
What they say:
"I thought it (SBA Team Camp) was the best camp we have ever been too. I love the fundamental part the most. I think it showed them some different ways of doing drills then they get at other camps. It also gave me lots of new ideas to use in practice as well. It was also nice to get some playing time as a team as well. It was a great camp and will be coming back again next summer."
