You are here
The Oklahoma Shock just became part of a new non-profit organization, and will now be known as Basketball Club of Oklahoma (BCO). What does this mean for you? A new lower price for 2013! Don't worry about the disappearance of the Oklahoma Shock name, we're keeping it. It will now be the exclusive name for all of the BCO girl's teams. For the boys we've created something new, they will be known as the Oklahoma Force. Our goal is to provide a fun, positive and healthy environment for each player that uses competitive basketball as the platform to inspire good character, self-discipline, leadership, academic success, sportsmanship, teamwork and strong work ethic.
What you get
Included in our team program package, all BCO players receive skills training, speed and agility training, team practices/gym time, uniforms, an assigned coach, insurance, and play in tournaments, events and/or leagues.
Our coaches and trainers determine each player’s skill level at our player evaluation sessions. Player evaluations ARE NOT try-outs. Every player that wants to play in our organization will get placed on one of our teams, appropriate to her/his skill level.
The team breakdown and player placement based on the development level of the players allows us to hone in on the specific skill development needs of each player that allows them to experience team play at each one’s appropriate skill level.
What they say:
"You guys have been great to work with, and I appreciate you trying to get Danny practicing... we'll be back next year and this time I'll sign up my daughter Hope also! Thanks for everything and we will see you in the near future."
